I am trying to make a Windows editor for EV nova plugins/Data files (I'm fairly sure there isn't one yet, if im wrong please tell me!). Does anyone know of any program for Windows that can interpret Macintosh resources? Source code would do as well, as long as it can read the files from scratch (containing no mac-only functions). A link to a website containing detailed information on how resources are organized into the file would also help.
So far, I can find several different types of resources in the .rez files (nova data 1 right now), and get the name, like "Federation" to go with the government resource, but the data following that does not seem to fit the specs for that government.
If anyone can help, or is a real expert who knows how to do this, please post! I'm sure there are a lot of windows users who want to make plugins(including me)!
