      is it possible for a beam to fire directly from the side of a ship? kinda like a 'blade' type thing
      Im not sure if this is possible though, if it was, it would ipen a few new opptrunities in terms of weapons

      the red dot is the projectile weapons center, the blue is the graphic. small weapon life, vary fast reload. side beam.
      Never tried it, but it should work fine.

      Ohhhh.... Ahh..... I likee. Nice idea AAC! Hats off to you. I think that one will definately need to find it's way into SS- maybe the plasma lances (swords, in other words).

      I gotta try that...

      ...pity I have yet to figure out how to make a projectile go to to the side instead of the direction the ship is going...
