basicly vell-os you can shove out a airlock with a spacesuit and they can form a dart out in a vacuum. only problem is... they formed it out in a vacuum. and only have the air of the suit. so they must be recalled into the ship before you jump or you will lose them.

Its just that I dont like makeing plugs for the nova story that much. I'd have to make my own version of nova before I would want to make expanding plugs. Thats my Pulsar project. will it ever get done though... doubt it.

KarTaniK: Making a red (or any color) weapon or engine glow for something isn't anything like the challenge of giving it a new paint job (doing a multicolor engine or weapon glow is hard, but just changing the color isnt). Just pop it into any photoshop like program and you can adjust the hue to get the color you want, and as long as you dont mangle the dimentions, you can use it with the same ship sprites. Now if you wanted the actual ship to be crazy colors its a much bigger deal.
Took me under 5 mins to make a different color engine and weapon glow.

five minutes? well i imagin it will take me much more time for me, seeign how i don't know the first thing, but i'm a very fast learner, and do my best through trial and error.

That's okay. It's not terribly important, but I could use it. If you feel like doing the shän, that's cool. But if you have too much to do (I know that I'm going back to school the 25th -- taking 18 creds (really shoulda considered easier ways to commit suicide)), then don't bother.
