Hi, I'm a windows user, and am requesting my Mac using brethren help me with a simple plugin, that of a Vellos dart hanger.

The hanger itself should be free, but weigh 2 tons (Standard passanger weight.)

The darts, however, would each be a hired Vellos, so they would be almost prohibitively expensive. 3 million apeice would be good, IMHO.

If possible, 2 types of dart hangers would be interesting, one with just the basic darts, and a second MUCH more expensive one with summer bloom capable darts if possible. (20 million apeice for those)

You can't make a bay for hired escorts.

I get the impression he wants to have it available to other ships. Though I don;t see how they could help him since they're under Bureau control. Unless the bay was only available in the Fed storyline.

Actually, you can simulate it by having the escorts give you a rank which has negative pay. And it's possible he meant a one-off hiring cost, like for the marines. Of course, if you go with the rank, it has to be removed after selling the Darts and you'd need one for each Dart which probably means several inidividual Dart outfits, each tied to a separate rank.

Sure, it is possible to make something that does that, but if you think about it from an RP perspective, not a powergaming one, it wouldnt work.
1. All VellOs are telepathicly enslaved by the Bureau (so they would do what the Bureau wanted them to do, not what you would want them to do).
2. The VellOs darts launched by the javelin are created by the pilot of the javelin, not launched from a bay. They have no pilot. They are created only by the very skilled VellOs that can create javelins. I belive that a player who completed the VellOs string can create darts nomatter what ship they are in, unfortunately, my charachter doesnt seem to be able to create darts at all, or i would test this. (its acting like it had no ammo - i think there may be some bit to control the regenerating of darts that got mis-set)

Yes, I desire darts for craft other than the Javlin.

Yes I know I can produce 3 darts as a Vellos in my javlin, but this is not what I want.

As for roleplay issues, not all of the plots involve all of the vellos being enslaved by the bureau. (The Auroran line has you rescue some non-enslaved ones)

I am looking for an outfit I can use on any ship, hopefully balanced with the rest of the game due to price and limited numbers of darts. (6 mantas would swarm 3 darts still.)
