Thanks to some very helpful people on this board, I'm in the process of downloading System 7.5 for a mac emulator that I've gotten to work on my computer. I am now wondering whether I should try my hand at Mission Computer or just go the safer route with ResEdit. I remember back in the original EV days, the earlier versions of EV Edit used to eat up plug-in files and spit them out haphazardly, making values come out very odd when you checked them in ResEdit. I assume Mission Computer is more stable than that, since a lot of people seem to use it, but how stable is it? Are there any known bugs or glitches that people have experienced, and if so, how serious are they? I don't really want to take many risks as I would be running it on an emulated MacOS already...
Note that this is not meant to question David Arthur's ability, but simply an acknowledgment that programming is tough and that every program has bugs, even those produced with teams of hundreds and budgets in the millions...
David, if you read this, please feel free to respond

EDIT: I just noticed the other thread (I searched for a similar heading through the previous 3 pages but didn't think to check this one ;)), and I saw that there were some issues with saving and perhaps memory allocation... Is the suggested method of "Save as" every time the workaround?
