I'm having absolutely no luck getting this thing to work properly. Two of the files aren't even converting properly, the Music and the 1.2 upgrade. The conversion utility just spits out a 1kb file.

Nova's music files are mp3s, so I don't know if you need to convert them.
I've also heard that Polycon won't work in EVN 1.0.6, so you might have to wait until Anubis updates it.

I think this is correct. When I tried to use it with 1.05 I coulden't get it to work because of something to do with submunitions, so all you have to do is open it up in res-edit and delete a couple of sub-munition type weapon things, and then it will run fine. But as you can't edit data files on PC's at the moment, your going to have to wait for an update.

I just launched Polycon on Nova 1.0.6 without any problem. The bug in 1.0.5 has been fixed in 1.0.6Neekirul: Try not to convert the music.

Have you tried to decompress it with Stuffit ?
The update should contain some files which are the updated files of Polycon.Or you can download the full 1.2 version.
