    • Small Plug Question


      This should be in the development foum but it is never active. I am making a plug with a bay. I couldn't get it to work so I copied the T-Head bay and change it. I do this little bits at a time to find out what is causing it to crash. It always stops working whenever I change the ID numbers. When i change them I change the ammo type for the fighter, the outfit weapon ID for the bay, and the weapon's ID itself. When it doesn't work, it just doesn't appear as one of the secondary weapons. What's wrong?

    • Can you post the debug log?

      Just create a blank text file called debuglog.txt in your Nova Folder, and it will log all the errors.

      Very useful for plug-in development

    • It may be slower here, but you will get an answer here, not on the NOVA board. Thats all I have to say, Im not too big on programming 😛

    • Did you change the ID of the weapon inside the outfit to match the new weapon ID? Also, do you have an outfit for the ammo? To do a fighter bay, you need the weapon, the weapon's outfit, and the ammo's outfit for it to work correctly. They tend to be a bit more sensitive to not having all the outfits than other weapon types.
