Many of you may remember my recent (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum9/HTML/003927.html#")topic(/url) about a spob problem. Needless to say, I figured out what was wrong. I had two copies of the plug, and one of them had the coordinates set for the spobs, and the other didn't. Guess which one I kept loading? That's right, the old one. Needless to say, everything now works fine, although my pride is a little wounded.

It's good that these kinds of declarations can be made official. Tabloid rumors are just always so nasty and never really answer any questions definitively. One person says this, another says that. But just coming out and making an official statement closes any arguments against the matter. Plus it has a very officious air about it - being that it's official and all. I think appropriate follow-ups would be to give a radio address concerning the matter or, failing that, send statements to both the New York and LA Times, press release style.

Yeah, I've fixed all the bugs in my plugin, but I left the old version in my folder. That isn't causing problems, is it?

It's a common noobie mistake except, most likely, when you're a moderator with over 2000 posts.

This is reliant on how much plug experience that Russell Quintero has. I assume that he has a relatively significant amount, but my memory is horrible, so I could be wrong...

I've never released a plug, but I have been making them for personal use since EV 1.0.3. So yeah, it's a little odd for me to make such a mistakke, and to get so frustrated by it that I actually brought it here. My second question for this board ever, and it was a stupid mistake... :frown:
