It seems there is a lack of good writers these days. Plug-ins are riddled with typos and grammar errors. And it is tough to focus on the writing when one has to deal with flags and graphics and all that fun stuff.
The solution?
Me. I offer to freelance write missions, descriptions, shipyard descriptions, all those holo-vid items, etc. Just email your interest or express it in a singing telegram. However you want.

Hey, you realize that you only waited 1 hour before getting impatient. Theres not that many people at the dev corner, and even fewer are actively writing plugs, and even fewer have plugs that need the writing done now. Plus, most people only check the boards once every day or two. This isn't a chatroom, responses take longer than a hour. Check back tomorrow or the day after, if no one's responded, then add a post to bump the topic back to the top. Sometimes people just dont need this. Try again in a week or two. I don't want to sound mean, just trying to help explain things.

Eh, its all good. I'm just sitting here chatting with one friend who only answers when he feels like it. Then I'm just reloading the dev corner page hoping someone will have answered my question in the other thread. I personally don't have much of a problem with people posting every hour in the same thread like that, but I know it pisses off some people royally, just thought I'd give you a heads up. I'd go run strata in background and try(unsuccessfully) to make a semi-decent ship, but my computer is old and crappy and as such couldn't handle all that.

Nothing personal, but I've yet to see anything that makes me think that you're any good at writing (quite the opposite; your posts in this thread are riddled with typos (I count 6)). Do you have any samples of stuff that you've written?

The grey cityscape passed by as he tried vainly to avoid both puddles and some of the old wheeled vehicles still active on the planet. Avier got a taste of both as one particularly large wheeled vehicle splashed a particularly large puddle onto Avier's particularly soaked trench coat. By the time he reached the hangar, panting and dripping, Avier figured that he had on his body more water than all of Arrakooine saw in a year. Maybe ever two years.
Entering the password, Avier strode into his sole true home since he has vacated the Run. The Terrapin was of modified YT stock, with the cockpit placed squarely in the forefront of the hull, giving the ship its unique turtle-like appearance. Avier flicked on the lights, and slaved the computer to the Si'at Ley traffic control grid. He needed a nice warm sauna...
Avier squelched his way to the fresher. Casting off his wet clothes, he grabbed a towel from the rack. He considered getting a robe, but hey, it was his ship. Still a bit damp, but with a warm, fuzzy towel to combat the clamminess, Avier made his way to the cockpit.
The Terrapin slowly made its way through Siat Ley Traffic Control. For a backwater planet, things were rather busy, Avier noted. If only he hadnt been lying to the GalTech rep. The shipment was due on Alphen VI, and this traffic was not helping at all. He sighed.
It seemed this was how life went after he parted from Rik and the Run. He had his own ship, but Avier was always stuck in traffic. Things were slow and tedious. Avier truly missed the sensation of being chased by twelve-foot tall mutated Vonskyrs with rocket launchers. Sure, it was damn scary, and sure, he had soiled more than one pair of pants. But it was adventure.
I have more, just I'm too tired to post it now...
It's 2:30, and I have 3 pages of pure, unadultered BS to write up....don't you love term papers?

You mean in-game? Yes it can, however when I tried it in my plugin, it had... uhm... less than satisfactory results >_<
Or at least, when you try to do it editing the system backround. If you can change it universally, well, maybe that'd work better... but I don't know how you'd do that.

If it sounds like an interesting project, drop me an e-mail. I'm still collecting people and developing the "official" universe right now- but once that is done/almost done, the writing pool will spring into action...
