    • Crön events w/ planets

Is it possible to have a planet/station appear at a certain date or at random using the crön resource?

      Thanks

      Yes.
Make a duplicate system with your new spob, have the cron make your original system dissappear and have the new system appear to replace it. For randomness:

      --------------
      From the Nova Resource Bible
      Random
The percent chance that the cron event will be activated during the date range defined above. Set to 100 for the event to be activated as soon as it can be.
      --------------

Date range being FirstDay, FirstMonth, FirstYear, LastDay, LastMonth, and LastYear.

Crons are very confusing to me, so I can't be of much more help.

But if I land on one of the planets in the first system (the original one), would Nova crash when the original system is replaced by system number 2?

I would guess not, because the planet would still be there. You're duplicating a system (copy, paste), so the same planets will be there. However, Nova might crash since the system has dissappeared. Try it and see.

Indeed. Here is a golden tip when it comes to making plugins :

Trial and Error. You really learn the most when you just try something and see what happens. The worst thing that can happen is that Nova crashes.

      Good luck with it,
