The Great EV Development Webstory!

I'll start by explaining what this is. This is a plug-in development webstory. This is a bit of a joke, inspired by a certain individual. I will be the only one to write the story, and I'll keep this locked and just keep adding to it occationally. If you want to comment on it, um, tough. And now, with a in EVula's direction, let me begin...

Chapter One

Mark sat down hard in his chair. He had just come back from school and was in the mood for some resource-making. Fifteen more cröns and a jünk to go, and the project would be done, if Charlie got the new freighter graphics in, and Susan finished the 12 mďsns she promised would be done last week. That guy named 1337EVilPlugman from the boards also needed to finish his outfit dëscs too, and all the outfits. Mark checked his email. Twenty-two pieces of spam for "FREE Viagra!!" later, Mark found what he was hoping to find, the graphics from Charlie. Suddenly, a cold chill went up his spine.

"What?!? No RLEs? No shän?!? What the **** is he thinking?" Mark exclamed, in a violent fit of rage. Mark fired off an email to the rest of the development team, explaining his disappointment in elegant terms:

_To the SuperCoolPlugDevTeamMAX3000 Development Team:

One might wonder if there is ANYONE left ALIVE that would be so INCONSIDERATE as to submit files in the IMPROPER format, and without accompanying resources. Much to my DISMAY, I now know the answer to this question. My WHOLE DAY will be RUINED doing the work of OTHERS, thanks to a MISERABLE SLIME._

No RLEs meant one thing. Mark would have to convert them himself. A few seconds later, with the help of EnRLE, the RLEs were made. Opening up ResEdit, Mark made the shän with the help of NovaTools shän editor, and all was good. The shďp resource would have to be made next, and Mark made a quick one to test out what flight characteristics would be best in Nova. Starting up the program, Mark listened to the music, and smiled. If things kept going as they were, the project would be done by the next month, only thirteen months after the initial estimate on the release date. There were a few hitches, like when Susan accidentally deleted all of her work, and destroyed the backup by spilling acid on the CD-RW in some sort of freak kitchen disaster. There was also the time when 1337EVilPlugman disappeared for five months, and the whole team thought he was dead. At least Mark had something now to look at. The new pilot he created started out with the new ship, and he flew it arround for a while. It was a little fast, and some of the slower fighters set to scan the system had trouble keeping up.

Mark quit the game and went back to ResEdit. Several more tests went by before it seemed perfect. Next, Mark needed to add weapons and set rest of the values.

"Let's see... not too much armor, decent shields, good cargo space, fine mass, okay!" Mark high-fived his wall. "Finally we're getting somewhere!"

Suddenly, his computer died, and the lights went out.

"Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!" Mark yelled, cursing the power outage. "Why did it have to happen right before I was going to save!"

Mark went to get a drink of orange juice, before returning to his computer.

"Okay Mark, don't worry, just try to remember what values you entered. It was only one resource, it's no big deal," Mark tried to calm himself, and jot down numbers he thought he remembered.
