I was working with Nova Tools the other the other day when my computer crashed. I normally have each resource set to display the resource IDs (rather than the index numbers or whatever it's called). Since the crash, however, each resource keeps setting it's self back to the index numbers. This isn't a major problem - except when I forget to change it as start entering ids that are out by 128. I'm just wondering if anyone can suggest a quick fix, or am I going to have to reinstall Nova Tools.

there are two radio buttons in every novatools window. The "show index ids" button must have been clicked.Check the ResEdit prefs (Edit > Preferences)

I probably didn't phrase my orignal post very well. Before the crash, I had the "show resource IDs" radio button checked in each of the Nove Tool's windows. Now, however, they get set back to "show index IDs" whenever I close the window and open it again.

I had a look in the ResEdit preferences, but there didn't seem to be anything in there that would fix this problem.

If I'm not too late, the radio buttons are only for temporary use- in the NovaTools menu is the master setting. Make sure it is indexes, not resource IDs or vice versa
