      I need someone who can do sheild glowing for my ships.

      Altough PC's are the most popular comp in the world. My outlook on this is that it can be imagined that PC's will one day be uterlly anihhilated,terminated, abliterated, flamed, or simply Liqufied!

      Don't you have your own 3D program? If so then just make 'em yourself.
      You could also make sheild glows with photoshop, but it's slightly more complex.

      I know very little about 3D stuff and have never put in things in Rëld. All i do are outf,wëap,desc, and pict. The ships I need them for I did not make myself. So can someone make them for me? Or someone can teach me. I have Photoshop 6.

      How to make a sheild layer for a ship shän:

      Get a .pict form of your ship spin graphic. (In other words your sprite)
      Open with photoshop.
      Select All, copy, paste.
      Delete black background. Set mode to Screen.
      Chose layer, effects, inner glow. Chose any setting you like.
      Voliŕ! there you have your sheild effect.

      Does anyone know a good way to create a Star-Trek style shield bubble in Strata 3Dbase 3.0.2? I've been messing around with a Marble surface texture, but I can't get it to look just right.

      I think you could make a star-trek like shield bubble effect by using photoshop. Make a circle, put gaps in it, play around doing whatever it was slyfox said, and run it through Enreld(did I get that right?)

      Tried that for my TC, but I got all these weird black lines after running them through EnRLE. I've decided to forego the shield graphics until I can work the bugs out.

      (edit) Okay, Pougan, I gotta ask -- what're you working on? You're dropping enough clues like I did before I officially announced what I was doing to have me totally intrigued...(/edit)

      I was trying to make a nova-class starship from Star Trek, but it was taking too long. I'm just making a simple half-oval type ship cause I wanted to put my own ship in, taking baby steps in 3D modeling.
