I've had trouble with these; they don't work. I did it exactly like Ben's in O&E.; Help?

    • Define "It doesn't work."

Greetings - I am your friendly neighborhood moderator. Over the coming years I shall force-feed you my biased one-sided liberal tripe that I find truthful based upon my own faulty and fragmented logic; excessive smileys 🙂 🙂 🙂 and bizarre TexT! formatting also help clarify my inane points. Welcome to the boards!

    • Ah, I love grave conversations. HA! Get it! Grave! HA!

Oh, I crack myself up, anyway... What exactly is giving you troubles? Create a conversation, make sure the proper picture id is given. Place the conv # in the Grave's info(0) and your all set. Just like when dealing with regular people.

To see the different picts and their ids go to Aschaaf's page:

Chalmers: Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? A this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?
      Skinner: Yes.
      Chalmers: May I see it?
      Skinner: No.

      As in:
Ferazel approaches grave, touches grave, and nothing appears!

But I think it's working now. It's just that my map nodes don't work, and I think I've fixed them, but I can't manage to test my third level without setting the starting level to 3 (which is how I get the problems, I think).

      I think too much!
      😕

The Conversation ID must be int the grave's info(0) If you do not know the conversation's id check out the World File in ResEdit and open the Mconv (or something along those lines.)

For a good deal of help with Map Node info check out the faq's

You do realize that you can use any sprite ID as a conversation picture right?

Yes, but usually one wants a face. And not everyone wants to fool around in ResEdit- we might, but not everyone does.
