Hey,
I am putting a plug into beta now. It has as of last count 20 spöbs, 30 total s˙sts, a few different governments and I am starting the missions now. My only problem is that I would like to somehow make my areas of space more distinctive, and so far colored Frigates and Pegasus are not that distinctive...
What I am getting at is if someone would like to design some ships, let me know. I need a fighter class, a carrier, destroyer, cruiser and a flagship class, as well as possibly a trader vessel of some sort, preferably in an Egyptian motif. If anyone would like to help me out with this, drop me a line at rsixand@vci.net

As of my introduction to LunarCell for my l33t PS4 (fear) I can do decent spöbs. unfortunately, I haven't done much graphical work for people as lots of projects (which are all free) are time consuming and what not. Maybe I can put together a free collection of stuff, though.

If no one is willing to do any for you, you could check out some of the online ship yards. Meowx and Warlock are the best that I know of - you can find both in the EVO links page under plug-in developer resources.

Yes, it's for EVN, I really should of been more specific about that. By the time I decided to do a plug for EVO, EVN was released and I figured that I would make the transition to the newer engine; which I personally perfer.
Anyway, I have picked up a freeware 3d design program (Called RenderBoy; keep in mind I have not a budget for a several hundred-1000's $ prog) and I have made some primitive designs involving basic shapes, but I am still not all that satisfied... I've looked a few of the shipyards out there and for the most part the ones that are any good sell thier designs (another one down the drain...)

Welcome to the web board, sounds like you are looking for an eye catcher ship on a short budget that will stand out so you will have many downloads. On my pilot files I would have been happy with 2 downloads right now it is over 1,000 on all of them.

To tell you the truth, I'm not worried about eye candy so much as fits-the-bill. The present ships extant in EVN just don't thematically seem right to me, and I have some ideas of what they should look like. It's just the implementation. But if they, when finished, don't meet my specifications, I have no problem releasing this with some colored IDAs' and Starliners flying around It's mostly about plot and the experience of creation for me.
