    • Jamming Issues


      I want to give ships which belong to the same government different jamming abilities. Since the 'outfit' on ship is irelevant to the AI, giving different jammers is prettey irrelevant, since they are for the player only.

      Basically, my 'stealth' ship has a higher natural jamming than the rest of the ships belonging to the specific govt. Since I cant see a way of giving the ships different jamming abilities for different governments, Ive decided to create 2 identical governments, with the exception that one has a higher jamming rating tham the other. (making the 2 allies of course)

      Is this the simplest way to go about this?

      In addition, since the ships high jamming is due to its armour not a jammer, I want the outfit to appear invisible in everything, theres obviously a flag to do this yeh?

    • I can't think of a better way to do it.

      I could be mistaken, but I don't remember a flag that would do that for you. In EVO, if you left the name blank, it would look like this:

      "...A super-blaster, a , a feul tank..."

      I don't know how Nova would react to the blank name. Of course, you could make the name something else that is totally irrelivant, like "a vending machine". Not a great example, but I think you get the point.
