    • Nova editing program?

A while ago someone posted about a really nice-looking Nova plugin editing prog that was in the works. I'm not talking about one of the several map editors, nor am I talking about NovaTools. I wish I could remember what it was called. Anyway, it looked cool from the screenshot and was supposed to edit everything in a plugin, but wasn't finished.

Anyway, I can't find it by searching, and I want to know what the status of the program is. Does anyone know?

I believe you are thinking of (url="http://"http://www.ariossoftware.com/upcoming/")EVONE(/url), by (url="http://"http://www.ariossoftware.com/")Arios Software(/url).

    • Thanks for posting the link, MadFax.

EVONE's status? In development. There will be a public beta when the time comes (hopefully at the end of the summer/early fall).

If you want even more in depth information, read my Dev Log, which was updated two days ago. To get there, click on Dev Log at the link MadFax posted (or the one in my sig).

    • Mmm....Aqua....

Arios, this looks awesome. Keep me in mind for Beta Testing. I'll be first in line for the download!

Sweet feature. Something I wish other support-file dependent apps did.

    • Something EV-Edit (shudder) did that I actually liked:

It had no direct-sprite editing, you just clicked a button in the ship/weap/outf resource and used a dialog to load in you sprite, so the images and the resource always matched up. You follow?

Maybe you could incorporate that into EVONE.

      Very cool.

EVONE will be exactly like EV-Edit in this way. Every editor is completely self-contained and takes care of coordinating resource ids etc.
