(I did a search for this, and didn't find anything)

Is there a way to add status bars right underneath the shield/armor/energy bars? i ask because I think it would be neat if:

1. The engine gets damaged, and you start slowing down, and as you move forward a self-repair unit repairs the damage.

2. A battery level could gauge how much power you have, and once it's all used up your engine wouldn't be able to repair itself, and your blaster would heat up, etc.

3. A Blaster "heat" status bar, aka once it overheated, you wouldn't be able to fire until it cooled off.

Is this possible? (In Nova)

You can edit the sidebar using the ďntf resource, but you can't alter its functionality, only the appearance of the bar and the shape and position of the features that are already there.
