      (I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this) Most (if not all) of the earlier images/linked images in the Image Gallery are unavailable. Shouldn't there be an archival area where these images/linked images are stored? I'm sure there are many people out there who would like to see these early/earlier images.

      All these images are hosted by the image poster, so if the poster takes the image down (for whatever reason) then the image link will be broken. Myself, I cant keep images up indefinately, because I tend to post large things (animations) which eat my space up quick. Such an archive would be dificult to implement while retaining an external image linking system, would defeat such a system's purpose, and would eat up space on the ambrosia server.

      You're right, Joe! Maybe a Yahoo! Group could be set up to handle the images (not the animations). I'm getting a bit tired of finding those annoying red x's. If I can't see the image or get the larger image, what's the point of reading the comments about it?

      Then get Netscape, it has a different icon for broken images. 😉

      As for a third-party hoster, that's a good idea. Perhaps I should set up a plot of (url="http://"http://www.evula.net/")evula.net(/url) for images, and people could email them to me to get them there (the way the site is set up, I couldn't just have one account for people to upload with, because then the files could be deleted). Anyone think this is a good idea?
