    • escape pod replacement...


      I had this idea that I havent got working yet, and something in the back of my head keeps telling me I should be able to make it work (but no sucsess so far)... what I want is to create a single outfit that is a caried fighter (a viper variant) that you can use to "eject" when your ship is destroied and fly it outa harms way.

      any thoughts?? it sseams posible but i must be missing a huge part of the equation somewhere...

    • Having an escape ship seems to be more than just a "single outfit" deal. It appears that you need to have a bay and at least one corresponding ship, as well as an escape pod to be able to use an escape ship. What could be possible is you create a bay for the viper that only has space for one fighter, and it's second mod type is that it's an escape pod. You buy a regular bay viper for your single escape ship bay, and it might be possible to eject in it. I've never tried that, but it seems as if it should work. Good luck.
