I think that Gul Banana thinks that Unix is a "bad" OS. If so, he hasn't used it before, at least not to its full capabilities. On the surface, it's pretty primative. There is no graphical interface, no mouse, etc. Below that, it is the most stable, and one of the oldest operating systems around. It's used for business networking, and was created by some guy to play a networked game. (I have a book with more specific details, but I don't feel like looking for it right now). Anyway, it's been modified by several different companies over the years, but that still doesn't refute the fact that it's the oldest operating system that's still in widespread use today. Unix was the replacement for the company mainframes, and is also one of the most stable operating systems out there. You know how Apple says that OS X is so great and stable? It's because it's based of the Unix OS. You know how many viruses have been written for Unix in the last several years? Probably no more than zero.
So the statement that Unix is a ****-OS, is positively untrue and was probably based on incomplete facts.
