    • fleet and dude resource help wanted please


      Hi,

      I'm been looking at the EVN bible, and in the sections on flet and dude resources there seems to be an unexplained bit. In the flet resource descriptions it says:

      "Fleets can also be made to appear by including them in dude resources. "

      However it doesnt seem to say exactly how you go about this anywhere in the explainations for either resource type, unless i've just missed it. Could someone please shed some light on this, as it seems puzzling, firstly why it isnt explained, and secondly why you would want to do it (i cant see a possible use).

      To answer question 1: I dunno, not my problem.
      2: So you could have multiple flëts in one system, 'stead of jst one. Maybe useful for a "war-torn" place or something, so instead of having ships come in one by one, by fleets. Hope that helps.

    • I'm not sure how it works (or if it works) in EVN, since I haven't tested it, but in EVO you did this by putting the negative of the fleet resID in the dude. And then you could have a mission that caused a fleet to show up; w/ the note that this should not be used for a mission primary ship dude.
