    • Ok, I made a new Government for the first time last night (ok well 4am actually) and I created a system in place of "sondrull" to house it. And it worked fine as far as linked fine could land on the new planet I created graphics, desc, and the basic function of it. But I had two problems one kinda minor.
Firstly, when you pull up the map it foesn't have the new Government name appear where it says (of all things) "Government", and I do have the name filled into the Med. and Short name fields. And I created a pers that should show up in my Govt 90% of the time and since it's only 1 system the ship should be there most of the time. Now it is a ship I created, but it shows up in the shipyard and is purchaseable. What am I missing here, please help!

You have to start a new pilot file for newly-created përs resources to be activated.

I think what you mean is that the ship is appearing in the shipyard and you don't want it to. You can either give it a requiring ncb of 9999, or a similarily high tech-level. That will stop it from appearing.

    • Every time the engine generates a new ship, there is a 5% probability that it will be a përs. Pers resources are selected based on their availabilty for display in that particular system - if it's flagged never to appear in the system, it's removed from the pool.

The only way to force a përs to appear a certain percentage of the time, rather than being drawn at random from the pool 5% of the time, is to use the s˙st resource's AlwaysPers fields.
