    • The Death of Frosty the Snow Entity

Yes, The Ford knows that all of you ancient kiddies out there have had the nagging feeling in the back of your little cabezas: "Whatever happened to that intriguing-sounding plug from that Ford / Karrde fellow...something about...chilled organisms...". And just to put to rest any silly little optimistic hopes you might have had, Frosty the Snow Entity as a plug-in to any Escape Velocity incarnation is officially deader than JFK Jr. The plug-in that has been re-invented approximately seven times is kaput. Reg, wherever you are, you're right. Never ph33r, however, for the concept of Frosty lives on in novel-form, for a book or series of book that will never be written and likely never be published. Like all writers completely infatuated with their own ideas, Ford is currently working on a massive centuries-long backstory that originally began as a skeletal timeline that has caused him to forget half of what the plot for the actual story is about. Woo. But, Frosty, the plug-in, is dead. Goodbye, world.

    • **** and **** and ****! I was looking forward to that plug. As the saying goes, "excrement occurs."

    • Heh, I had no idea Frosty was alive in any form after a HD crash killed the plug in the DiscBoard era. Too bad it never made it.....good to see you still hang out a bit though, kaarde/Ford.
