I decided to post this again because I wasn't getting any help/feedback on it.
Our plu-ins need graphics right? Right. So I was wondering if there was a site out there on that big Information Superhighway that let developer people like us, load and download objects and graphics we could tinker with and use for our developing needs. I know there are shipyards and such where you can download ships, but what about wings, cockpits, bodies, guns, etc, that we can use with our graphics programs to help make new and interesting ships? There has to be such a site somewhere, right? If you know of a site that does this, please, do not hesitate to answer, for yor answers could help the many starving developers out there in this mixed up world. If there is not such a site, I say that a bunch of us developer type people like us, get together and make a site devoted to such a thing. There I said it. My crazy thoughts are complete. Sorry If I went a little overboard, just had to get these thoughts out of my system. Again, sorry if this makes people angry and flustered. Thats all.

Let me clarify my statement. In Mechanisto, each part or shape of your ship can be saved as an object. If it is saved, the developer or creator of the graphic could post it for other people to use in their own graphics or ships. I am not trying to say that the creator should load an entire graphic, just an object, such as a wing, or a cockpit, or an engine, that anyone could use on their own graphics. So, if I made a graphic of a wing in Mechanisto, and put it on a site, others could download it and put it on their ship. It would be a way to share ideas, graphics, and other telated items. I hope that helps clear things up.

Ok, I finally got around to helping this problem... A little bit. I started a Yahoo! group that anyone can join. However, there is only a limited space to put graphics and stuff in and you need a Yahoo address, but, hey, this is better than nothing.

And NO, I am NOT promoting yahoo in any way. However, it was a quick, free and(very!) temporary answer to this problem.
