Really... something must be up. Is it just a ship, or something a lot more complex, like an indoor scene? On my old Supermac, upgraded to a 280 Mhz G3, I can do a 320 x 240 rendering with 36 frames of two ship models in under half an hour. And when I get on my 333 Mhz iMac, you better watch out.

**BTW - The banter board apparently doens't like it when I post my banter:) , Noting that I don't see it as easy to gain karma, I'm proud of the fact that I lost some for posting the unabridged lyrics to 99 bottles of beer on the wall. I need less free time...rendering takes too long, and I've nothing to do while it's working...

C'mon, you don't have to do that. Just write:
for (int i=99; i>0; i--)
{
cout<<i<<" bottle of beer on the wall, "<<i<<" bottles of beer.n";
cout<<"Take one down, pass it around, "<<(i-1)<<"bottles of beer on the wall.n".
}
