    • EVO plugin-conversion


      I am currently using Bryce to remake all of the EVO planet landscapes and I'm looking to create a total conversion for the game, while I am able to do landscapes and I have access to photoshop I have no way to make new ships. While I am perfectly adept at writing, plot and planet/bar descriptions, I really can't stand writing the caption texts for spaceships and outfits. If anyone would be interested in working with me on this new project let me know, its just taking shape so I can't say much about the story.

    • Well, although I'm busy, that seems like a project that doesn't require a whole lot of time...I'd be perfectly willing to lend a hand. Of course, unless someone else offers you money to take the job, or just plain wants it more than me.

    • Allright sounds good, anyway I've drawn a map in photoshop that I'm working from geting some ideas, I want to be able to include some concepts like colonization here, I'm trying to see if I can write something that allows for planets to change hands more often, so there wont be just a static map to play from. Anyway more on this later.

    • Hmm I checked it out, does this mean though that I need 2 copies of the same system on top of each other? I've started writing story line now too, gotta go to class, see ya'll later.

      Yes, but if you set it up right, only one will be visible at a time. That's how the changing systems along the various storylines are handled.

    • I understand the visbit settings, I'm writing a backstory and will be happy to send it to anyone who is interested oncfe I'm finished, I'm also working on the plot and storyline and downloaded some ship sprites (though I'd like to have originals). I will be posting more information as the story actualy takes shape.

    • back story plus all planetary landing scenes are finished, moving on to universe/system creation and placement. I'm going to post the story treatment as a teaser once I can figure out how to do that ^_^
