Hey, everyone. I was playing around with Strata (goh, I love that program!) and discovered the 'Reshape' menu. I discovered the 'Move Point Tool.' Pretty cool, if you ask me. But, look at my first playtoy:

I still say it looks like a dinasaur...
      And, my second:

This is mostly taken from one of The-Undead's ships...

Please tell me what you think. Rip them up! Shread my work! Kill it! Just don't say anything aboot textures yet...

    • Geocities doesn't support image hosting very politely, as I'm sure you've found out -- instead, just go (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/madman801/")here(/url) and select the images from the file listing. (They're the ones titled "whatthe#.jpg" at the bottom of the page.) 🙂 They look pretty nice, although a bit plain -- but I'm sure some textures will fix that up as soon as you get around to them. Whoops, I mentioned textures, didn't I? 😉

I was just kidding...everyone has mentioned textures! But, still they are plain. It's better than in Mechanisto...

I guess it would work better to load them on another server. Any good suggestions? (I tried f2s...it didn't work)

(url="http://"http://www.mac.com/")Apple's iDisk(/url) works quite fine. Just mount your iDisk from the site, or from the Finder in OS X, and move stuff onto it via the Finder. And I've found no problems with it so far.

Also, if you are going to use GeoCities, just add a '?' (question mark) at the end of the URL and it'll work fine.

      And another reason AOL SUCKS

    • The ships look pretty kewl. I'm actually planning on getting Strata soon, as I can only afford freeware 😛 Mechanisto is serving me just fine atm, but being able to use another program could always help . . .

Also, I only have a Mature Teen screenname, and so on the parental contols, I can't use Netscape or load (sigh...) Geocities.com, Mac.com, or connect to AmbrosiaSW's servers, HTTPS sites, or anything that requires FTP.

AOL most certainly does support iDisk, although it's rather slow. However, it's quite possible that your restricted account (why are you on one of those, anyway?) restricts access to it, as it isn't accessed through HTTP and server systems don't know what it is.

You're right...AOL does support iDisk. I was looking through my Cookie prefs last night, and discovered that AmbrosiaSW has like 4, and iDisk is supported. Sorry. But, I have a Mature Teen restriciton cuz I'm a mature teen! Duh! Anyway, I have access to another account...

I don't think the question mark one works. But, I upgraded to iDisk. Pretty cool...and my name was open! Anyway, for some reason, these images display on my screen. So I know they work, especially with my rating. Usally I can't view iDisk pages or images. Pretty cool!

I was thinking of making the second one (which I am currently calling the Curve Warship) with a Chrome accent. The basic design is

NOTE: I might not upload this for a few hours...I have to go to school. I will be back!
