Here's a peek at the current Atinoda builds with the first revised once under them for comparison. I also included sprite samples of the revised designs. The fighter is still under development, but will either be call "Predator" or "Talon-Wing".

You know ive got to say that I prefered the first generation models. Actually I think they are both pretty awesome, perhaps if you combined the features of the two??? The Kestral looked better with the thinner "neck" and smaller bridge, and was slightly more faithful to the original.

The raptor... I think you have made the bulge between the wings too tall in the y axis. The new width is fine, dont change that but if you perhaps halfed the height it would look far superior.

I cant think of much more at the moment, so good work.

Those are great, and I am glad to see you dropped the plastic look, but I still sort of miss the old kestrel design. You have a kestrel in your free stuff area that many have used in plugins and I think is beautiful. Why don't you use that?

I got it... The wings shouldn't have that thingy on the end, the slightly tapered fuel-ish looking thing. That and the wings should be more... er... hmm... I think that it's much more 'Atinoda' to have a less-pondered design. So less... er... embellishments, or whatever one would say.

They still do look good though.

Yeah, I agree. I think the Anitoda ships should be pratical rather than beautiful. Good looking ships, as such, are nice to look at, but take away from the realism of the game. I suggest making the kestrel more like it was before...

Actually the new models have fewer parts than the old ones. And what's so impractical? The new designs are simply more areodynamic, which makes atmospheric flight a lot easier. I also always thought as the Kestrel as a bit of a luxury item in terms of military use, so why not make it pretty too?

Even though you can probably justify it scientifically and practiacally, I (and probably several others) will never look at this ship as the kestrel we have all come to know and love. It is a great ship, but I suggest renaming it, or making it more like the original kestrel.

How about thinking them as newer generation remakes. A new incarnation of the classic kestrel, even.

It would make more sense to make it looks like the kestrel but modified, as opposed to a whole new ship that hardly resembles the classic kestrel at all...
