      ebay currently has an auction on the full version of Infini-D 4.0, so for anyone who wants to get a huge steal on this excellent 3D program, go there and bid now before it's too late (currently at $26.00). 😉

      Er, yes I do. Last time I saw a copy of Infini-D (version 3.0 for Mac), it reached $50 before the time limit expired.

      Wow, that guy really got ripped off. I got 4.0 for $45 (w/shiping)

      I predict this auction well end in the $40-60 range. No one well pay triple digits for a horrendously outdated program... At least I hope no one will. 😉

      Hmm. I wouldn't say that paying in the triple digets for version 4.0 would be "horrendous." I've used version 3.5 before, and I didn't find it much different from my now-current version 4.5. Infini-D 4.0 is certainly a good program, still worth a few hundred bucks...

      I disagree with skyblade. If you are a student like I am, you can get Cinema 4D XL 7 for OS X for $299. Also I can get Maya for OS X for $499. I really can't see Infini-D being comparable to Cinema 4D XL 7.
      Just my 2 cents.

      You're so busy using Lightwave, you've never taken the time to see what Infini-D can do. 😉 Just remember that all of us don't have a few thousand dollars to buy Lightwave (or even $900 with a student discount).

      Draxo: I've read all over the internet that you can't get Cinema 4D (XL) for less than $500 with a student discount.

      actually, i used infini-d before getting lightwave. it cant even do a small fraction of what lightwave can do... and i wouldnt pay any over $30-35 for it.

      I agree that Lightwave can kill Infini-D, but that just makes Lightwave amazing, and Infini-D excellent. 😉 I think that still paying $75 for Infini-D is a fair deal...

      Looks like someone at ebay just posted a full version of Infini-D 4.5 starting at around $7.00. Looks like it's for Mac, but I can't say for sure...
