Ok,as I'm having trouble making a working arrowhead shape in Mechanisto,I'm asking all ye good peoples of the board to come to my aid and send be a DFX model for one,or point me in the direction of a free, small, easy to use program which can export DFX models,so I can do it myself.

    • I would suggest (url="http://"http://codenautics.com/meshwork/")Meshwork(/url) for something really simple and pointy. It's a nice little shareware program, ($30) it can export to DXF, which can be imported to almost any program. It can also export to 3DMF, POV-Ray, VRML, and 3DS. Plus it's small; the app is only 459k! (although I would suggest downloading the docs&samples; too)

That reminds me, I need to register it sometime... hmmm...

I think the installer for Strata3D Base (or whatever it is) is about 18 Megs compressed. You could always start the download, see how big it is, and then cancel if it's to big.
