What sort of editor were you thinking of?

A general editor, or targetting a specific set of resources?

      Great name by the way.

NovaBurst will hopefully be able to edit all Nova resource types but all wraped together so you can very easily switch between editing say a mission then quickly into a dude attached to that mission.

BTW you can add lists of words to the checker so it will recognise any new words you have made up. It highlights words that it doesn't recognise, it is still up to you to correct it or leave the speling as it is.

Idea! I don't know if this would be possible, but could you make it so the lists of words added to the spell checker could be "project independent," so words from one project wouldn;t overlap into another...would this be worthwhile?

Not quie sure what you mean here. But if words are added then they are available to all descs. ResEdit stores the words in the ResEdit preferences.

You could maintain a couple of different word lists your self, and install the one you want into ResEdit when you need it.
