    • Lemme see... I need 8 to get to 20:

      -----------------

      Qwellan III
Qwellan III is one of the only planets where the mineral "Qwerniul Vei" is found. This mineral is an integral part of several of the Chutad weapons. It is because of this importance that the Chutad have high security here.

"Fumes" is full of miners and Chutad soldiers. The soldiers eye you warily as you enter. The miners cough at you.

      Qwellan Station
Qwellan Station is where "Qwerniul Vei" is processed into the gas that the Chutad use in their weapons. The gas is then sent on to Qwellan VII for transferral to the rest of the empire.

Qwellan Station bar is mainly empty. Not many people want to be around the gas in its pure form. Even the bar, you notice, has a slight Qwerniul smell.

      Qwellan VII
Qwellan VII is a bustling metropolis due to its trade with other imperial worlds for the precious "Qwerniul Vei" that it sends out to the galaxy.

This bar is to upper class for your taste. Even the tankards are crystal.

      ------------

      Okay, that's all for now.

    • Here are more to the 5 I need to get to 20:

      ---------------
      Suglied
Suglied is a UPS world, through, and through. It holds the 2 major UPS parties conventions most years. And has the most nationalist laws in UPS space (a recent law, forbidded citizens from spitting closer than 20 meters from the flag).

"The Grand Old UPS" bar is full of regulars complaining about young'ns today. And how great the war was.

      --------------

That's all for now. Score = 16 descs

      ------------------
Why must I lose to these idiots? -- Nimzovitch

    • I got another one here:

      Riyh
Riyh was once bustling with people, that is until the Tvana came and inihalated(spelling?) almost all life. Since then UPS has settled Riyh though many people do not live here, they still fear that the Tvana will come back to destroy the planet again.
      (Bar)
The Burger Planet is the closest place resembling a bar. There are only two other people in Burger Planet, the waiter says that it is very unusual to see more than five people eating here.

      11, 9 to go!!

      Eliot's World

Centuries ago, this world was reserved by the <aliens> for field-testing biological experiments that were too dangerous to be tried on a settled planet. Thousands of trials ranging from military to medical to flights of fancy were conducted here.

After the Great War, they abandonded this world, leaving the thousands of experimental life forms to find their own niche. Most of them were unstable and fragmented into dozens of additional species.

Eliot's World is now an environmental melting pot. It is home to the most insidious diseases and predators. It is also the only source of Eliot's Ambrosia-- the only known cure for cancer in humans and other species.

      -----------------
      Hope's Home

Little more than a captured asteroid, it holds the processing center that converts Eliot's Ambrosia into the life saving drug. The processing cannot be done on Eliot's World because because the rapidly evolving diseases on Eliot's World would kill any workers within a few weeks. The Ambrosia must be harvested by machine and flown here by remote controlled ships. The harvesting machines are frequently damaged by local wildlife. Rather than risk infection to repair them, new machines are shipped to the planet regularly.

      Bar text on Hope's Home
Olympus Tavern is dominated by a huge portrait of Lieutenant Karl Eliot, the first human to land on Eliot's World and live for more than a day afterwards. The ale is good too.

      ------------------
Notes: <aliens> refers to the aliens that were defeated in the Great War. In the plot summary, you (NNNormal) did not specify which species that was, but you did imply that a Great War took place. Eliot's World is uninhabited. Hope's Home has bar, outfitting, shipyard, but low tech. I would like some kind of harmless bioengineered space fish flying around in this system, but since you used all the ship slots already, I guess this wont happen.

Um, yeah, I'm just wondering if you have a webpage or any log for your plug, just wondering.

      ----------

      Here's another one:

      Opar
This UPS planet is incredibly boring, the only interesting part about it is the landing pad which has large neon lights that read, "Welcome to Opar!"
      (No Bar)

      Worel
Worel is Opars moon, it is not quite as boring as Opar, but it rates up there with it.
      (Bar)
The Ui was named after a famous pilot that helps defend the moon against it's frequent pirates.

Nope, no log or webpage. All that would just slow down the process.

I find stations very boring to write descs for
I ALWAY spellchech and go over everything in the text.

    • How about a planet to be colonized...
      Before
      S'Kliln
As you step from your ship onto this luscious planet, you hear a squawk from a bird, and you breathe the misty air. You also think you see a sparkle in the nearby stream...
      (no bar, uninhabited)
      ----------------
      After
      S'Kliln
The harmony of nature on this beautiful planet was broken when a mercenary discovered rich deposits of titanium and metals here. Now it has been colonized by the (whoever), and the sound of a crane is now as common as the sound of a bird was before.
      (bar)
As you enter the 'Metoner', you see that it is only a construction site bar. Many workers are taking their breaks here, and are leaning against the wall, sipping coffee.
      --------------------------------
      Ytanic
Coughing abounds on this red world. The plague is as common as the flu, and it is always cold here. Staying for too long could be dangerous. The sign on the bar says "Keep Out!" with a radioactive symbol on it.
      (bar)
Half the people in the 'Diseased' are on the floor, unconsious, and the bartender is green. It might be a good idea to leave.
      --------------------------------

Thats 2 for me, just 18 to go 😉

    • Klistarn
The only two good things about this planet is that there is a rich supply of food, and it is the only UPS planet where you can easily buy fake IDs. This is one of the main sources of food for the UPS.
      (bar)
This bar has almost everything you could ask for in a bar: food, an arcade, a slot machine. However, nowhere can you find a good drink.
      --------------------------------

If you do use me as a pers, then please use Draco.

    • Okay, I'll bang off the 4 I need to get 20:

      ---------------
      Aviluk
Aviluk is a ComTech storage world. About half the products that ComTech ships through this sector of space is stored here. Apart from storage, Aviluk has no major industries.

Aviluk bar is in the middle of a warehouse that appears to be storing nail clippers.

      Korlien
Korlien is a small Tvana world. It has no real distinguishing features and is somewhat boring.

Korlien bar is unremarkable in every way. At least it has access to the Tvana subspace network so you won't die of boredom.

      Filoib
Filoib is an especially cultured Dyal world. It has one of the finest operas in the galaxies, and has more aliens on it than any other Dyal world.

"Dree Mcilinter" is a restaurant named after the protagonist of a famous Filoib novel. You notice that there is a copy of the book on every table.

      Woletir
Woletir is an incredibly backwater planet of the United People of Sirgil. The literacy rate is 46% and there are less pieces of art produced on the planet in 2 years, than there are produced in a day on any other UPS world. There are a lot of TV shows produced there though.

Woletir bar is full of yokels watching TV. They look at you for a minute and go back to watching.

Ha! Never! I think I'll give you a Dyal Battleship (A nice ship, similar to a Reble Destroyer). If you get more than me, I give you a ComTec Canard (the ship you start in). There. That is the incentive for not beating me. 🙂

    • I liked magicianeer desc alot because he/she included what the planet was like. That is very helpful while making the spob. Other things that can be include are the color and size.
      ------
Large planets 114X are availible in green with water, gray, orange desert, red gas, blue gas, purple gas, and green gas.
Regular planets 80X are availible in green, red, snow, desert, gray, water, fireball (use sparenly), and the gas colors above.
Small planets 64X are availible in gray, green with water, red, desert, and green gas.
Moons 32X have similar color choices are regular planets (sorry, no small fireball).
Every government has one/two statioin types.
      ------
Space objects can have outfit and shipyards in advanced, regular, and light. They can also have a comodity exchange and bar (with desc).
      ------
If you choose to include this info, it would be helpful to me. DON'T tell me the info for planets before this post.

      Thank you!

    • Kaldisif

The Chutad world of Kaldisif was once a thriving, but insular, world occupied by the Disi natives. Unfortunately for them, they were too interested in an equal part in the planet's government, and the Chutad released a neurotoxin into the atmosphere, specially geared towards the Disi nerve centers, to drastically reduce their intelligence and willpower. Although it is known to not affect the Chutad, no tests have been conducted on humans, so it's probably not a safe place to be.

The bar is manned almost entirely by Disi menial laborers that give new meaning to the term "dumbwaiter". The Disi uncomplainingly do all the work, and the Chutad do the drinking; neither of the parties minds much.

      Regular planet, water
      Small outfit shop, no shipyard
Commodity exchange -- metal, medium; food, low; whatever else you want, considering that there's no shortage of cheap labor

      -------------------

      Nemodisif

The only other world the Disi colonized other than their own, their small holdings on this moon of Kaldisif were wiped out from orbit by the invading Chutad warships. Most of the survivors were shipped off to Kaldisif, and a small, quiet Chutad garrison was left here to guard the huge automatic harvesters and mindless Disi drones mining the moon's rich veins of metal ore.

The bar on this planet is practically empty, but a small crew of Disi slaves operates it for the benefit of the occasional visitor and the bored soldiers from the garrison.

      Regular planet, red
      No outfit shop, no shipyard
Commodity exchange -- metal, low; food, medium; whatever else you want, considering that it's a small (arid) moon with lots of available labor

    • OK, here we go:

      Yui
Yubi has a very thin atmospere. You cannot breathe any outside air because what little there is, is poluted with dust that rises off of the planets dry windy surface.
      (Bar)
The Canyon View serves great drinks and has a spectacular view into a deep canyon that appears to have no visible bottom.

(Yui has a grey planet and a grey dusty surface)

    • Sirgil (Green with water 114x)
      Description:
Sirgil is the capital homeworld of the United People of Sirgil. The main city, New Dallas, is the home of the bicameral Senate (divided into the Chamber of Deputies and the Chamber of Commons), the President and the Supreme Court. A lush, tropical world, Sirgil is made up of large cities made of white marble scattered across the planet, with thick jungles in-between the cities.

      Bar Description:
This Greek Revival Bar is so full of politicans it makes you sick. You wish that a hungry snake would slip out of the jungle and strangle all of them.

      Starbase Sirgil
Starbase Sirgil is the headquarters of the United People of Sirgil Navy. A huge, state-of-the-art station, it is stark and utilitarian, with UPS naval personnel running all over the place.
      Bar Desription:
A large number of UPS Navy officers hang our at Starbase Sirgil's mess hall.

Xenophon: (64x planet, you decide what picture)
The second largest planet in the Sirgil system, Xenophon's rough mountains, muddy swamps, and savage snowstorms make it ideal for basic training for UPS basic training.
      Bar description:
A lot of weary, tired, and injured UPS Naval cadets walk into this bar, sit in a chair, and pass out, many baging their heads on the bar itself.

      Odysseus: (small moon)
If you're landing on this moon, consider yourself lucky. This moon, a secret military R&D; base, is forbidden to all but the highest UPS gorvernment personnel.
      Bar:
The few scientists and officers in this bar give you an uncomfortable stare.

      God bless,
