    • Why Does the Legal Status Read "N/A"?


      I was alpha testing a plug-in earlier today. I have added several govt's to EVO. Most of these govt's worked fine, but one of them didn't work quite right. This govt owns one system, and in that system, the legal status reads "N/A" when you click on the system in the map screen. I have the "Initial" legal status set to 0, so it should read clean...right? I know with Renegades it reads "N/A", but this govt was not modelled after the Renegade govt.

      Here's the weird thing: I copied the UE govt to my plug, gave it a new ID, and renamed it. I changed some of the values around to match the old govt. Now, the system reads "Clean". Why did it just say "N/A" before?

    • I really dont know. Is Xenophobic selected? That might give that result but Im just guessing here.

    • Jules is correct. Any Xenophobic government will have a legal status of N/A.

    • Hey cool I got it right - and it was just a wild guess too!!! I used to do some govt designing and I always kept on meaning to look up the bible about what xenophobic does - never got round to it but now I know!!!
