      I'm having two Problems with ResEdit 2.1.3:

      1. The last ID in a list of ID's won't open like the others when double clicked on and won't show up unless there is more than 1 ID in the list.

      and

      2. The Copy/Paste function isn't working.

      Any explanation would help.

      I don't know what to say about the first problem but the second one I can help you with: Not everything is copyable(is that a word), what are you trying to copy?

      I am trying to copy all the resources in Ev Data into the Start plugin.

      And I'm also trying to copy an image resource from EV Data to the starter plugin.

      The picture would be mor preferable than the entire file, which im sure is impossible (the entire file that is)

      Well. Hmmm. I'll explain it tomorrow and show some pictures to help because it is kind of hard to explain without a picture.

      OK, for 1, does this occur on all resources or only one or a few types of resource
      and 2, try upping ResEdit's prefered size. Click once on the ResEdit application, go File->Info, if you are on 8.5+ choose 'memory' from the popup menu near the top of the dialog box that appears, and change the number in the 'Prefered Size' box to something like 5120.

      i use preferred size as 50000 (speeds up some things)

      this 'start plugin' is that a new plugin ur starting work on? cause if it is, just make a copy of the ev data file, change it's name to 'start plugin' or whatever, and change the thingy in the plug in info thingy (i can't be bothered going to find out what thingy's exactly...the one's where u change a new res edit file to a plug in) to make it a plug in... and there u go... otherwise....are u using the keyboard shortcuts? if so, try using the menus - they're more reliable

      I had the copy/paste problem a while ago, but it dissolved when I increased the memory partition for ResEdit.

      Have you tried using Super ResEdit?

      You can download it here

      It has a few bug fixes and can be more helpful sometimes.
