I am wondering what the best places to get texture maps that I can use in my modeling efforts are, if there are any besides Onyx's?

There is a LOT that you can go to. Try doing a search on altavista or something for "3d texture maps metal" if your looking for metal textures. I don't know where to find them as such because we make all of our textures by hand.

Or you can make ur own! it's real simple! (if you have Adobe Photoshop that is)

I read in a review that it was fully functional minus the reeditable text feature and it doesn't allow you to use any 3rd party plugins.

I have the full version of Photoshop 5 and several 3D programs. I have tried and tried and TRIED and I can't figure out how on earth to create 2D artwork on a computer. I can't figure out if I lack the talent or the know how... I'm leaning toward the know-how since in the past I've found that there isn't much I can't do, but artwork may be the exception...

Btw, sorry I forgot about this topic.
