I downloaded the ship models for EVO but unfortunately they were all in Infini-D format. (AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH)
I have Strata so I was wondering whether anyone has converted them into a format that Strata can use cos I'd like to see what they are like in 3D.

Anyway, I have an aquired copy of Infini-D, and it states that the copyright ends in 1999 I think. Also, Infini-D is no longer supported, nor recognised, but the company that makes it. Anyway, dont use hotline, all you get is porn. Go for Carracho, it's much more mac like and there is more community. (url="http://"http://www.carracho.com/")http://www.carracho.com/(/url)
I do not endorose software piracy, but I personally do not see it as piracy when the product is no longer sold. No replies about this please, it just gets silly.

There is a problem with converting the Infini-D ships to anything else, you can only export to DXF or 3DFX models, and I don't know whether Strata can import these. They might have to be taken into Bryce or something and changed.
Strata can import DXF.

StrataVision was given away as free during a brief promotion. A quick search of these boards should produce it. Strata3D is Strata's latest "free" give away 3D promotion. Unlike StrataVision which has boolean tools, Strata3D does not.

I downloaded the "Strata 3D installer," but when I tried to open it to install the program it said it couldn't find the program that the installer was made in.

I wouldn't bother Converting them into Strata, there's no real point because the models are so simple and most of the time you end up losing the textures. Just make your own ships and call it "MAGMA" or something.
