Anybody in this board (or other boards) that knows how to make plugins any advice, experience in making them. How to get started. What progams are recommended among the more experienced plugins makers. Do any of the Mods have some tips for me.

Does resedit work for Macs. I'm trying to work on a ship plug but first I have to get people's opinion, advice, etc. (read my first post that I put down).

ResEdit is Mac-only, so of course it works on Macs.

Ok, first you should grab a copy of (url="http://"http://hotfiles.zdnet.com/cgi-bin/texis/swlib/hotfiles/info.html?fcode=MC13272&b;=mac")Resedit(/url), this will allow you to edit all parts of a ev/evo plug, be warned though, resedit is a powerful app that can seriously screw up your mac if misused. Next, grab a copy of the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl?path=ev/utilities&file;=EVBible.sit")EV Bible(/url) it tells you everything you need to know to create plugins, it also includes some resedit templates that you must place in an empty plug to make it editable.

I recommend downloading the EVO Bible Annotated Edition (at the EVO Add-ons page on Ambrosia's site). It explains a lot of stuff that the original EVO Bible is unclear on, and provides some additional notes that are not in the original version either. I consider it a must-have.

The relevent bible ships with every copy of EV/O. You'll find it in the Plug-in Developer's Folder within the EV/O Folder
