    • Map Editor For EVO

Does anyone know whether there is a map editor available for EVO as I am currently figuring out the positions for the systems on the map of my plug-in mentally using Triginometry (the stuff that (b)doesnt(/) have right angles). I know EV-Edit has one but it keeps mucking up the systems (ie I can jump from one system to another, but I cant jump back.

    • The best program I know of is one by Pontius, EVO Developer's map. Although I use it for EV (it supports both), I am sure it would work great for EVO. You can edit all pertinent info about spöb and s˙st resources - and it offers a great graphical interface. you can grab it at (url="http://"http://members01.chello.se/warlordpontus/ev/")http://members01.che...rlordpontus/ev/(/url) .

One final note - it chokes a little bit on huge maps, or ones with lots of spöbs in a system (I tried putting four in, and it went to a crawl). I don't know if this is my computer, or if it's a bug in the program. But I would rather use this at 1/4 speed than EV=Edit at all it's buggy speed any day.

    • EVO Dev. Map is the tool we're using to put together the map for Mille Terrae.

We've got 800+ Systems, plus VisBit Systems, and dozens of Systs with multiple Spobs.

I've still got the memory on Dev Map set to the stock level, and so far, I've noticed no slow-downs whatsoever.
