      If you want to chat about EV/O plugin development, feel free to drop by #evdev on ambrosia's IRC server, irc.ambrosia.net.

      Dont know how to IRC? Follow these simple steps:
      (list=1)
      ()Download (url="http://"http://www.ircle.com/")Ircle(/url) or (url="http://"http://www.shadowirc.com/")ShadowIRC(/url). I recomend Ircle for a beginners client.
      (      )Run and configure it. For Ircle, click the 'edit' button in the 'connections' floating window, for ShadowIRC go edit->preferences. The server will not be on any of the lists, so you'll have to add it. The address is irc.ambrosia.net, the port is the default one (6667), so you wont have to worry about it.
      ()Click on the connect button (for ShadowIRC, go file->connect->(connection name)), you will be informed and prompted to change your nickname if it conflicts with someone elses.
      (      )Type /join #evdev
      (/list=a)

      I hope that explains it.

      Anyway, I'll need some channel ops, I will check up on you, and you'll need to be involved in the EV dev enviroment as well, I wont accept someone who just came on and said 'mememe'. You'll also need a working knowlage of IRC. Respond here if you'd like to be one, or just catch up with me on IRC, I'm usually on about 4-7PM GMT.

      I'll be in there as soon as I get home from school. I wouldn't mind being an op either, but that's up to you.

      Well, if you're using Ircle, highlight the connection that you are using for ambrosia.net, click 'edit'. Make sure that the username field only contains letters and numbers, no spaces, high ASCII (opt/ctrl+<key> ) etc. Also, make sure you're connecting to irc.ambrosia.net.
