      I played the original and hated it. I don't see how any fancy movies change things.

      The original Quantumire was indeed crappy. Those faults have been rectified. Story, ships, weapons - everything's been changed.

      On the other hand, don't expect QSE that soon.

      What the heck? When I downloaded a movie Stuffit Expander came on and seemed to unstuff Movie 1 without a hitch, I finished checking the boards and then quit IE. Strangely enough the unstuffed file had a wierd looking "sit" icon, but a file name with a ".mov" file name extension. I couldn't open the file in Quicktime, despite the movie file name extension and when I dragged it onto Stuffit Expander, Expander started up and then quit. Actually something similar has been happening with Expander a lot of the times I download something off the EV/EVO/Ares addons pages, but without the file name extension strangeness. Does anyone know what is going on here?

      Yes, it's happened to me. When Expander is launched by IE right after a download, sometimes it doesn't unstuff the file properly. Just drag the original .sit file onto Expander yourself and it will open without a problem. Hope that helps!
