Ok, to all you plugin developers doing TC's or if your just getting into plugin making and want to replace some "easy" resources, have I got the scoop for you! I've made some "explosions" which turned out to be unuseful to me. I'm releasing these, royalty-free, for you to use. You can use them as weapons, the obvious explosion or sparkly looping astroids (if you know how to do it right). All I request is some credit whether it is in the form of a email saying thanks or the like.

None other than my fave 3D program, StrataStudio Pro 2.5.3 with the included Power Modules to do it.
I used the particle effects (pixie dust I think it's called) portion of Strata to pull it off. We've being using these kind of explosion effects/weapon effects for a while now but once we get EVN and throw in transparency...

Well, I'm sure you can imagine.

Yes, you can. In Netscape Preferences, go to Applications. Edit your prefs for dealing with QuickTime movies (.mov) by changing your option to 'save to disk.' This will force Netscape to save the movie as a file on your hard drive.

Possibly these would be good weapon:
separate into sprite (R&R; has some tool for that, right?)
then put weapon with spin graphic flag and range just enough to have it look like a flamethrower, etc.?

No, knock yourselves out. But if you use them for a plugin I'd like appreciate credit (whether in a read me or whatever) but for anything else, no problem. I may one day decide to make more for the heck of it! And if I ever get a good screenshot program (or actually gasp purchase SnapzPro) I'll make a tutorial.
