I just got the idea from Cinga's new plug (which, I recommend highly, go check it out...)..

Anyway, when you make new ships, you have to have graphics for them at every possible turn angle, correct? And from the ones Cinga has up, they're all the same color.... now, what if you were to make different colored ships at all the turn angles (but, they'd still be the graphic data for the same ship)... would that mean that in the game you'd have a ship that changes color whenever it turns around? and even better... one that changes shapes too????

Yes, if you made the shape and/or colors different in each frame, the rotations would change color and/or shape. Unfortunately, nothing will change if the player stays at one angle, which is why this isn't used for animations on ships. We'll have to wait for EV:N until we have animations at one angle.

WTF? Your question was related to making graphics for ships and Developer's corner is where one would go to ask that. Frankly I don't see how moving your post to a forum where it is far more germane is an abuse of power.
