We've put deqt support into Mission Control (yay!). Now the Bible says that if EVO finds a deqt when it is looking for a desc to display some mission text it shows the movie associated with the deqt... So we put in tools to set deqts for every desc that normally displays in a window of it own (ie all except the quick brief). But we can only get the full briefing text to be replaced with a movie when we try the plugin. So, what's up? Has anyone out ther who is putting movies in (Martin?) figured this one out? Is the Bible wrong!?!!!! Are we dumb!?!!!!!!!! :eek:

This has delayed MC for a little bit. If we don't need so many controls we need to take them out.

BTW ;We've posted a final version of ShipWrite on the ambrosia addons. v1.1.6 has fixed some bugs and now sorts PICT resources lists by id. It is no longer beta!

Only the main briefing desc can be replaced or accompanied by a QT resource. This isn't very clear from the EVO Bible, although it is there.

There are three options: before, after, or replacing.

Great, The Bible is not clear. We'll have to simplify the code now, but that is easier than
adding new stuff There will be a few new buttons on the Descs dialog and when you want to add a deqt, the title of the text field becomes editable and becomes the name of the movie. There'll just be a trio of radio buttons for the before, after and instead.
