I just thought I'd ask here if anyone here can do space-fight scenes, or just fights in a spaceport bar. It would at some atmosphere to my pro-renegade plug.

You mean for the characters? Meowx uses Animation Master (Hash), as I recall...

Poser is pretty much the easy way to get things done, as is Bryce...but quality and detail probably won't be as good as with free-form modeling...

Poser 4 is awesome. Earlier versions (the kind you get free with magazines) leave a lot more to be desired. Poser 3 can do a lot, but Poser 2 and Poser 1 are extremely limited.

However, for real Poser cred, you need to hop across to (url="http://"http://www.renderosity.com")www.renderosity.com(/url) to pick up some of the amazing free models which go way beyond anything that was in the box in terms of detail. Also check out the hair tutorials. There's also an enormous Poser webring where you can find just about anything you want.

BTW, there should be a plugin to take Poser straight into Raydream.

BTBTW, the QTs in Frozen Heart were made with Poser 2 and overheavily compressed, which accounts for the grotty quality.

BTBTBTW, don't set QT onto 'high quality' for use with EVO. This causes crashes on most systems (although sadly for the testing process, not mine).

(And, yes, it was me he wrote the chapters on phonemes in the Poser book — my linguistics tutor would be spinning in his grave — oh well).
