what kind of sound programs do you guys use?

The ones I've used are Sound Recorder and I think SoundEdit, not sure.

SoundEdit for conversions, Sndsampler for editing. I've never found anything better than Sndsampler for its price.

I use SoundEffects...

It's fairly easy to use (better than SoundEdit IMO)...but it's pretty hard to find...

well, i got SoundEdit(though i haven't done anything with it yet) and i'm still looking for something that's fairly easy and powerful at editing...

I have a whole bunch of music CD-Rs, but what format does the music need to be in for it to be used in an audio player? What software would I need to change MP3s to this format?
