    • Does anybody know how I can convert a sound file I recorded using simple sound to a snd resource that I can use in EV? And does anybody know of a shareware/freeware sound editor that can actually be used by someone who has no experience at making sounds?

I use SoundEffects. You'll have to do some hunting, I have no clue where it's from, but it's great. You could just open the sound up in ResEdit, but it needs to be 11.1Hz. Try using the Quicktime Player to import it and export it.

    • Unfortunately, SoundEffects no longer seems to exist. I found the webpage of the person who made it, and it was not available for downloading. (listed, but not available, and it said they no longer supported it.)

Importing the sound I recorded into quicktime player worked just fine, but I can't seem to export it. Do you know where I can get an earlier version of the player, before they separated it into Pro and Junk?

    • I have SoundEffects 0.9.2, if you want it, email me
