I'm formally announcing GALACTIC DISSENT, a complete rebuild of EVO, based on a troubled EV Galaxy, that takes advantage of all the new things in EVO. Development is no 80% done, with only 120 missions left to be built. That's it! Anyway, I have a serious problem that causes EVO to crash when it tries to load. I've checked EVERYTHING, and I can't find a way to fix it. If you want to help me, I will be eternally gratefull, and will help you with whatever I can...Email me and I'll send you the plug. It might be a memory problem but you probably allready tried that :frown: send us the plug and we'll have alook, another few pairs of eyes might spot something.

Usually with a problem like that it's something to do with your spins. The most commen occurance is that you have pointed them to the wrong sprite/mask set or you haven't put anything in at all.

There were two problems I saw. The crashing bug was the antimatter spin resource, it was just all zeros. I put in 202, 203, 32, 32, 6, 6 and that seemed to do the trick. The other potential bug was one of the masks rendered in pink. I redid it in B&W.; The plugin launched OK in EVO 1.0.1 and EVO 1.0.2

There seem to be some resource numbering problems with the version you sent, the target graphics seem to be mixed up, so you'd better check all the IDs of the secondary graphics again. The sprites look good.

Well done, and good luck with the plugin, it looks like you spent a lot of effort on it. We'll try it when you're done.
