Is there such a thing as Schmelta for EV/O? or do I have to do my missions the hard way?

You can use S-V with EVO. Just turn your EVO plug into an EV plug, make the missions and change it back. If you want to use the new features, just do those with Res.
Yes, I have done this. Over 100 missions, and it only ate them once.
