In the plug I'm working on, I have 2 groups of parallel missions, one available to freighter captians, one available to warship captains. They fufill the same role in the plot and have the same bits, etc; the only difference is perspective. If a player switches ship type in the middle of these strings, then they get the missions for the other ship type. To do this is use mission flags 0x2000 (refuse the mission to Pilots w/sips of inherentAI types 1 and 2) and 0x4000 (ditto for type 3and 4). When I use my Warship test pilot, who uses a M. Gunship (AI Type 3), he is offered the Merchant mission instead of the Mercenary mission. If I make the Merchant mission impossible to get, he gets no mission. Does that flag work? I'm being driven insane!! Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using EVO1.02, w/the templates for that version.
